If you detect an odour and suspect it is originating from Sutton Courtenay Landfill Site please call the Environment Agency on the 24 hour Incident Hotline on

Please try to include details such as:  

1. The time you noticed it
2. Where you were when you noticed it
3. The perceived intensity of the odour (1 = no odour, 10 = very strong odour)
4. Duration (How long did it last? Is it intermittent?)
5. Type of odour (e.g. compost/chemical/sewage)
6. Whether the odour caused you to change your behaviour (Did you need to stay indoors/shut windows?)
